Bradley Walsh, a character from The Chase, is making an incredible trip to Egypt as he searches for the answers to the question of how the Pyramids were constructed over the course of 4,500 years.

Although the ITV host, 64, has no intention of leaving the quiz show, recent betting odds from Betideas.com have sparked rumors about his potential departure and potential replacements.

The odds suggest that Bradley could leave at any time, with a 4/6 chance, stirring up rumours about his future. Barney Walsh has a strong chance of winning if Bradley leaves, trailing just behind Stephen Mulhern at 2 / 1. Roman Kemp, who is also 5/1, and Alexander Armstrong, who are 8/1, are other top contenders.

Lee Mack (9/1), Ben Shephard (10/1), and Clara Amfo (10/1) are also in the mix. Lee Astley from betideas.com commented: “Bradley Walsh’s 16-year stint on The Chase could be coming to an end soon, with the presenter odds-on at 4/6 to leave the show anytime in 2025, and viewers seemingly fed up with his recent hosting duties”., reports the Express.

He added, “Should Walsh depart the programme, the most eye-catching name in the betting to replace him is his son Barney, who is 5/1 to step into his father’s shoes in the ITV series”. Astley also noted, “Stephen Mulhern is the market favourite at 2/1 to become the show’s next presenter, with Roman Kemp (5/1) also in the running”.

Bradley Walsh is gearing up to host his very own show, a tantalising three-part special titled ‘ Bradley Walsh’s Egypt’s Cosmic Code’. The series will see the beloved presenter delve into the mysteries of the Sphinx, explore Tutankhamun’s tomb in Luxor, and bring his trademark humour to our screens.

In an exciting teaser trailer, Bradley shares his lifelong intrigue with Egypt, saying: “I’ve had a fascination with Egypt and the pyramids for a very, very long time. It’s an anomaly, an absolute cornucopia of ideas and fantasies”.

The trailer provides glimpses of Egypt while also implying that much about that time period is still unknown as the historical context of Cleopatra’s fall is pondered. Challenging conventional beliefs about the pyramids ‘ origins, Walsh offers his own conjectures, asserting: “It certainly wasn’t the ancient Egyptians, four and a half thousand years ago. I have different theories”.

The preview teases viewers: “With his Indiana Jones hat, his unique brand of entertainment, and his camel-riding technique, it’s fair to say that Bradley is unlike anyone the Egyptians (ancient or modern) have encountered before”.
