People with a milk allergy are at risk when Tesco recalls its “Free From 4 Christmas Chocolate Flavoured Cupcakes.” The recall was brought on because milk may be present in the sweet treats, despite the label’s failure to list the allergen.
The full recall statement from the FSA reads: “Tesco is recalling Tesco Free From 4 Christmas Chocolate Flavoured Cupcakes because they may contain milk which is not mentioned on the label.
Anyone who has an allergy or a milk-containing intolerance may be exposed to the product because of its potential health risks. The product may contain milk, which could put a health risk on anyone who has an allergy or a milk-related complication.
Do not consume the affected product batch.
