Justice James Omotosho stated in the judgment that the prosecution had beyond a doubt demonstrated its case against Kanu on seven counts.

He claimed on Count One that the defendant intentionally refused to enter his defense in response to the broadcast accusation.

Omotosho claimed that the prosecution’s evidence demonstrated that the defendant had mandated the South-East region’s sit-at-home order.

He claimed that Kanu had terrorism plotted against Nigeria by airing a threat that the world would stop and that people would die.

The defendant, according to the judge, was aware of his actions and was determined to carry out the threats without taking into account the lives of his own citizens.

It is obvious that the defendant engaged in a preparatory act of terrorism, according to the prosecution’s uncontroverted evidence. He was expected to explain himself, but he omitted it, according to Omotosho.
