A mysterious man entered a bar in Tenerife to sing along to a well-known Oasis song, which was revealed to be a well-known celebrity.
Families are still rushing off on last-minute getaways before the children return to school, even though the summer is coming to an end. When a famous person staged an Oasis number for a mother during a recent trip to Tenerife, she was shocked to discover the surprise of her lifetime.
Last week, a guitarist was playing live music in a Costa Adeje bar, which Carolyn Leahy and her two children visited. Before the musician beckoned a punter to join him on stage for a rendition of Oasis’ hit song, Wonderwall, nothing appeared out of the ordinary.
Carly, 42, from Blackpool recognized the bloke as a friend and fellow boxer, Ricky Hatton, when he entered his show.
Drinkers were disappointed, though, as it turns out that the 46-year-old Ricky didn’t actually know the lyrics to the adored anthem.

Carly was astonished to discover that the former world boxing champion hadn’t mastered the lyrics, particularly given his reported friendship with Liam and Noel Gallagher. She even suggested they ought to provide him with the words to better equip him for future musical ventures.
She remarked, “He made an effort to hit those notes, but he definitely screwed up the words.” I recall Oasis going to his fights back in the day, so I was surprised he didn’t know them by heart.
