Taylor Swift, a global megastar, is scheduled to appear on The Graham Norton Show on BBC in just a few weeks to promote her new album.
Taylor Swift will return to an iconic British chat show next month to promote her hotly anticipated album The Life Of A Showgirl. The singer, who got engaged recently, will appear in the next series of The Graham Norton Show.
On 3 October, the same day the album is due for release, Taylor will be a guest on the red sofa at the BBC’s popular chat show. She is set to appear alongside Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy, actresses Greta Lee and Jodie Turner-Smith, as well as About Time star Domnhall Gleeson. Another popular musician, Lewis Capaldi will perform his new single Something In The Heavens too.
Taylor hasn’t returned to the stage since 2022, when she made an appearance to promote her album Midnights. She was also promoting the remasterings of her previous albums. Although the star wanted to buy some of her early records, she sold them to someone else because she did not own the rights to them.

She had been re-recording the songs to her own “Taylor’s version” of them as a result. Although financially successful, Taylor’s re-recording career appears to have come to an end when she was able to recover the masters from her first album earlier this year.
She will now make an appearance on the program to promote her most recent album, The Life Of A Showgirl. Taylor released a number of new songs as part of her worldwide tour, Eras Tour, which featured hits from throughout her career.
She stated on the podcast of her fiancé Travis Kelce that she would “do three shows in a row,” and that she would then take three days off. I’d take a flight to Sweden, and then return to the tour. At this point in the tour, I was physically exhausted, but I was so excited to be creating.
Many of her earlier albums have gained fans’ hearts for their depiction of heartache, including Red, which featured several songs allegedly involving her ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, Fearless, which is said to have broken up tracks aimed at Joe Jonas, and The Tortured Poets Department, which fans claim to have music starring both Matty Healy and Joe Alwyn.
However, Taylor has said The Life Of A Showgirl will be different. “It just comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in my life. So, that effervescence has come through on this record.”
Elsewhere in the podcast, Taylor and Travis also spoke about their relationship. The Cruel Summer singer compared their love story to being in “an 80s John Hughes movie” and added that this was what she’d been wanting for a long time. “This is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.”
A few weeks later, the pair announced their engagement with a post on Instagram. It showed the two surrounded by flowers after Travis proposed. Taylor captioned the picture: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
