Months after Taylor Swift revealed her obsession with making sourdough bread, some of her celebrity friends were seen leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles holding their bakery items
Taylor Swift has seemingly gifted her famous sourdough bread to some celebrity friends while attending Este Haim’s wedding afterparty in Los Angeles.
In August 2025, the superstar, 36, explained on her fiancé Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, that since the end of the Eras tour, she has been spending a lot of time in the kitchen, developing an obsession with making bread from scratch.
She joked she is “really talking about bread 60 per cent of the time now” and said she often sends her sourdough to her friends so she can get feedback and improve her recipe.
Now, she is believed to have gifted the bread to her friends, including the new bride, Este and her siblings, Danielle and Alana, as well as singer Shane Michael Boose, known professionally as Sombr. On Friday night, the celebrities were seen leaving the Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles holding their bakery items in their hands.

While Taylor wasn’t seen leaving the restaurant, her bread was – and pictures obtained by the Daily Mail show that she carefully packaged it, ensuring it looked beautiful before giving it to her friends. Stickers on the bag included one of Taylor’s sourdough puns: “Are you bready for it?”
Another label read “It’s a loaf story” in a nod to her hit song, Love Story. After photos of the celebrities holding Taylor’s bread emerged online, fans couldn’t help but share their thoughts. “Oh to be blessed with TayLoaf,” one wrote on X.
Another posted: “The only Taylor Swift merch I want is Taylor’s sourdough.” A third said: “Taylor Swift’s sourdough becoming an accessory like a designer bag to people is the funniest s**t I have ever seen in my life. I love her.”
Previously, Jimmy Fallon revealed he had been gifted sourdough from Taylor as he shared a photo of an avocado toast with the caption: “Not gonna lie: Taylor actually makes the best sourdough. Thank you @taylorswift13!!!
Another celebrity who has enjoyed Taylor’s sourdough is Selena Gomez, who was gifted fresh bread and a Le Labo candle for her 33rd birthday in July 2025.
On the packaging, Taylor wrote a note for Selena and her then-fiancé, Benny Blanco: “Homemade sourdough … For Selena + Benny. It’s a loaf story.”
Talking about her bread-making passion with Travis and Jason last summer, Taylor said: “I’d say all my hobbies could be categorised as, like, hobbies you could have had in the 1700s, you know? Like, I get all my granny s**t. We’re very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life.”
She continued: “The sourdough’s taken over my life in a huge way. I’m really talking about bread 60 per cent of the time now. I’m just, like, always baking bread and texting my friends and being like, ‘Can I send you some bread? I need some feedback. Do you like this one better than you liked the other one? Like, I did the rise a little differently.'”
