Tanker Explosion: Gov Bago Sympathises With Niger Community

The Essa, Katcha Local Government Area residents have expressed their condolences to the governor of Niger State, Umaru Bago, who claimed several lives and injured others in the explosion.

The governor described the incident as unforgivable, unforgiving, and pathetic, speaking through his chief press secretary, Bologi Ibrahim.

He continued, “This is yet another painful, difficult, and tragic experience for the people and the state government.”

The governor prayed for the governor to speed up the recovery of the injured and release the souls of the explosion-dead victims.

He criticized how people have remained close to a fallen tanker in recent weeks for attempting to scoop its contents despite receiving numerous warnings about the risks of such an action.

In addition, 40 people were injured and over 30 were feared dead in the Niger State tanker explosion.

No matter what the circumstances, the governor urged the people to respect their lives.

He assured that the state government would provide the required support through relevant MDAs and thanked the management and staff of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) for its swift intervention.

Numerous people were killed and injured when a tanker&nbsp exploded on Tuesday.

While scooping its content in the Essa community, the Katcha local government area of Niger State, several others suffered various injuries.
