Stars from the small screen flocked to the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles to see Seth Rogan’s Apple+ show The Studio take home four gongs and Owen Cooper, 15, who had his breakout role in Netflix mini-series Adolescence, become the youngest ever male winner at the Emmy Awards.
Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney presented the young actor with his award on stage. “Honestly, when I started these drama classes a couple years back, I didn’t expect to be even in the United States, never mind here,” he said in his acceptance speech. “But I think tonight proves that if you listen and you focus and you step out of your comfort zone, you can achieve anything in life.”
