Saffron Barker, the star of Strictly Come Dancing, was on vacation in Dubai with her parents and boyfriend.
Strictly Come Dancing star Saffron Barker was close to tears after suffering with another holiday disaster while in Dubai with her boyfriend Josh Miln and parents. The star was only recently robbed while she was in America, but her bad luck didn’t end there as she opened up about the disaster incident that occurred in the United Arab Emirates.
The 24-year-old shared the update with fans on her YouTube channel and recounted accidentally losing her vlogging camera in the sea. Saffron surprised her parents with the yacht trip which started off well. However, her camera soon accidentally fell into the water leaving her close to tears.

The camera slipped and fell overboard as a staff member picked up a nearby towel, according to Josh. Saffron once again stated that the incident was accidental and not the staff member’s.
She told fans, “It means I’ve lost all of my footage and camera, which I presumably only recently purchased because I had it stolen in the US.” That leaves behind another $1000 camera.
“But for me, I think I’m so upset because it happened before this trip every time I vlogged this trip. Basically, it’s all of my video. In an effort to keep the SD card working, she also captured a scuba diver trying to recover the camera.
Josh later stated to the camera, “The guy who went down, he saw the anchor and said it was dragging. Since docking, we have moved. Thus, there are very few chances of getting the camera.
The YouTuber revealed that armed men robbed her car and all of her belongings while the couple were eating at Peggy Sue’s diner in May while Josh and Saffron were in the US.
Saffron remarked, “I honestly can’t leave the US right now, and everything I had with me was completely stolen.” To be honest, this trip hasn’t exactly gone according to plan. The worst pain I’ve ever experienced has been my own.
Everything was taken, including their medications and passports. Not just the tangible things, either. Everything we needed is here. We had nothing to go, according to Saffron, who explained. We had no ID, no medication, no food.
We keep saying how lucky we are, we could have been held at gunpoint, she said in a recent YouTube video detailing the “horrible” holiday. They might have followed us, they said.
“I think it occurs at Peggy Sue’s quite frequently,” I believe. You would have gone there, where there are guns and other things, if Josh had left and seen it, I am certain.
We are also grateful that neither of us has suffered any harm as a result.
