According to reports, Alex Kingston counts a well-known neighbor as one of the fans she’s engendered in her neighborhood. Strictly pro Johannes Radebe and Alex Kingston are competing in the most recent season.

Alex Kingston can count a famous neighbour as one of the fans she’s generated in the local community they share, it’s been claimed. The 62-year-old actress, known for her parts in the US medical drama ER and Doctor Who, is currently competing alongside Strictly pro Johannes Radebe on the latest season of the hugely successful BBC dance competition.

It appears that Alex has a local fan base, which she apparently includes a former prime minister, with whom she even “shares a personal trainer,” during her time on the show, which is currently in week 10.

Indeed, Alex reportedly lives alongside Boris Johnson in the same village in South Oxfordshire, where the former MP dwells with wife Carrie and their four children: Wilfred, Romy, Frank and Poppy, reports The Mail on Sunday.

Alex seems to be doing incredibly well, Boris told the magazine. She is abandoned by the entire village.

Meanwhile, a source added that Boris is a member of the Alex-based community. It’s lovely to see. A heartfelt weekly ritual provides additional evidence of the community’s support for Alex.

It turns out that local residents descend on the village hall each weekend to enjoy “live screenings” of the show, an event touched upon in a newsletter titled The Villager, which noted that the “splendid” activity serves to “cheer us all up”.

In the local article, it was also also revealed that “someone very close” to Alex had a “lot of money” bet on the actress to lift the Glitterball Trophy, her husband, Jonathan Stamp, according to the Mail.

In other news, Alex, who last week took to the dance floor to perform a Cha Cha to Ring My Bell by Anita Ward but only landed 23 points, was praised by fans after confessing that her body was struggling.

Speaking to host Claudia Winkleman, she admitted: “The thing is when I’m watching the show as a member of the public most of the time I do agree with Craig, so now I’m in I can’t say ‘Oh he’s talking rubbish’ because I know myself watching the telly I would agree with him.

“This is the time to actually talk about where we are as competitive dancers.” When you’re at the end of the tunnel, how your bodies are really suffering is never really discussed.

What are you putting me through, my 62-year-old self is asking. However, I don’t want to know, I want to keep dancing because my spirit and soul are moving (ears in ears).

One viewer took to X to share their views on what they described as her “honest statement”, noting how she’d “more than proved herself” before urging the actress to hold her head “high”.
