Thomas Skinner is reportedly suing the BBC because it claims he has evidence that Strictly Come Dancing was rigged to prevent him from leaving the show early.
Former Strictly star Thomas Skinner appears to be the latest to stick the boot in to the BBC. The reality TV star is reportedly suing the organisation for rigging the dance show’s voting as he was voted off in the first week.
And now it’s said that he believes he has evidence to show there was foul play so that he can be eliminated as soon as possible. At the start of the series, The Apprentice’s star and his dance partner Amy Dowden received marching orders.
The judges’ scores from the first two weeks of the program were combined with results from a public poll. Thomas is said to believe they purposefully understated his total despite the BBC never disclosing how many public votes each star received.

A source claims he is now following in Donald Trump’s footsteps and suing the organisation. Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: “Thomas is adamant he got a larger share of the public vote and believes he has the evidence to prove it. He is determined to see it through, but there’s no way the BBC will take this sensational claim lying down.”
They continued, “They’ll vigorously defend any allegations that the voting was rigged or fixed.”
A BBC spokesman responded to the question, saying that “Strictly Come Dancing’s public vote is robust, independent, and verified to ensure complete accuracy.”
Additionally, the corporation has stated to the Mirror that it hasn’t received any paperwork or legal complaints related to this issue.
There was no chance Thomas would accept the invitation, according to the Sun’s source, who added that while Thomas was supposedly requested to attend the final this weekend.
He was allegedly “locked in rows with bosses since he was sent home.” No matter how many of his supporters sided with him, he is persuaded that the BBC was “hell-bent on getting him out as soon as possible.”
Despite the claims made by the source, it’s believed Thomas’s absence from this weekend was simply a result of a commitment. However, Amy and her fellow ballroom dancers will return.
Vicky Pattison, Emmerdale’s Lewis Cope, and Doctor Who actress Alex Kingston were just a few of the stars who made the series this year.
And it’s anticipated that they will all make a comeback, along with other former contestants like Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, showbiz guru Ross King, and drag queen La Voix, among others.
Since Thomas’ inclusion in the series at the time of his initial inclusion, there has been rumors. Before the performance began, he off the dancefloor stoked a storm with his behavior.
He faced backlash over his social media posts, notably a selfie with Vice US President JD Vance and later stormed out of the press launch for Strictly and snatched a journalist’s phone. Then, an affair was uncovered as Thomas admitted to cheating on his wife just weeks after their wedding.
The Mirror also revealed one of his firms hasn’t paid back a £50,000 Covid bounce back loan.
