Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s bombshell announcement that they will leave the beloved BBC show at the end of the series has been addressed by former Strictly Come Dancing star Joe Sugg.
Joe Sugg has spoken up about Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s unexpected announcement that they will be leaving Strictly Come Dancing at the end of this series, and revealed what he thinks could be the reason the presenters dropped the exit bombshell the way they did.
In a video uploaded to YouTube on 27 October, the former Strictly star and his partner, Dianne Buswell, opened up about their pregnancy announcement. They revealed that they are expecting a baby together in a video posted to Instagram. This was the same way Tess and Claudia chose to make their announcement.
Joe continued, “He and Dianne were “rushed” into sharing their news, and he speculated that Tess and Claudia’s decision to press their news was influenced by the same “annoying” factor that he and his partner were forced to do so.

He said, “We had to let you know it was a little rushed.” “And I’m not sure if it’s the same reason Claudia and Tess had to publish their news; if it was, it’s very annoying.
We received an email on a Friday saying, “Hi, we have very reliable sources who have informed us that you are having a child. Such lovely news, indeed. This Sunday, we’re going to tell everyone that. “
He continued, adding that he and Dianne were going to tell their families regardless of the circumstances for the weekend, but that they needed to move up their timelines so they could tell their fans before the news broke.
The couple made it known that they were expecting in September. The couple shared a video of themselves and a stick-figure baby in a video they uploaded to Instagram.
Additionally, Tess and Claudia shared their news through a shared Instagram video. At the conclusion of the series, the pair announced they would step down as Strictly’s presenters.
They remarked, “Hosting Strictly is a dream come true, and we have loved working as a duo. We had planned to leave together before, but now it seems appropriate.
“We will have the most enjoyable episodes of this incredible series,” the BBC and everyone who contributes to it say a heartfelt thank you.
We’ll miss them every day because they’re the most brilliant team. When we say the final “keep dancing,” we will cry, but we’ll keep saying it to one another. Just possibly while eating some pizza while wearing tracksuit bottoms at home.
