Vicky Pattison, the star of Strictly Come Dancing, celebrated her highest score of the series so far with a wardrobe malfunction, leaving her almost red-faced.

Week on week Vicky Pattison has been striving for top marks following her performances on Strictly Come Dancing. And this week the former Geordie Shore star finally achieved her highest score of the series.

However, she was nearly a wardrobe malfunction that prevented her from giving her a celebratory hug with her professional dance partner Kai Waddington. And the incident was shared on TikTok, which immediately became popular.

Vicky had been awarded her highest score to date and was told by lead judge Shirley Ballas that she could potentially make it to the final. But as she hugged Kai, she realised she may have been a little over zealous with her movements and quickly checked that she had not fallen victim to a wardrobe malfunction.

Vicky is seen pulling at her toe-moving top while her legs are wrapped around Kai. And when Claudia Winkleman, the host of the show, saw the situation, said, “I love you Vicky, that was your highest score.

Vicky is later seen laughing as Claudia addressed the audience while unable to stop her excitement. Vicky has endured other red-faced Strictly moments as well.

She will never forget a moment she experienced during the dress rehearsal last week before the show from last Saturday.

Speaking on her podcast Get Grip with Kai and Angela Scanlon, she recalled: “Saturday was just like a disaster from start to finish, I think. Do you know my little headdress thing? “

She continued, explaining that, “I put that on and we were dancing in the dress rehearsal, which was a move where my head went down and came up.” And I kept trying to shove my headpiece up and it kept falling back over my eyes as it completely fell off the wig.

She is also feeling pressure from being a mother, despite the pressures of making it to the final.

The 37-year-old TV personality revealed that the pressure to start a family has been very excruciating after the wedding of her long-term partner Ercan Ramadan last year.

Speaking on the Women’s Health Just as Well podcast with Gemma Atkinson and Claire Sanderson, she explained: “My mum told me ‘If not having children is your trajectory, that’s fine,’ which I thought was powerful. I think we’re coming around to the idea as a society that a woman doesn’t have to have children to be fulfilled – and, for me, there’s still a huge question mark over motherhood.

She continued, “I’ve worked hard to finally reach a place where I’m proud of who I’m becoming, and the thought of taking a break frightens me.”
