Strictly Come Dancing’s upcoming live tour dates have been announced, and organizers have promised a spectacle that will be “more dazzling than ever before.” One judge will be noticeably absent, though.
The panel will feature former professional dancer Janette Manrara as host of the tour, while panelists Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood are expected to re-join.
Motsi Mabuse, however, appears to be avoiding the tour. The 30-show tour’s lineup of celebrities and professional dancers will soon be revealed.
The tour will begin in Birmingham on January 23 and travel through Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow, and Nottingham before wrapping up in London’s O2 on February 15.
The BBC Strictly band performs live music from the BBC Strictly band, according to the Mirror, and Revel Horwood is the artistic director of the two hours of spectacular dance routines, including group performances.
The audience will ultimately determine the winner through nightly voting, despite the three judges giving their opinions at each show.
The Strictly live tour is always the best way to kick off the new year, according to head judge Ballas. I’m eager to see 2026 take to the stage with Anton and Craig to recreate the Strictly magic for fans all over the country. “Roll out January”
Du Beke stated, “My fourth Strictly tour just keeps getting better and better. It’s just magical to sit backstage next to the judges’ desk and watch the audience’s excitement go wild night after night. We both adore it, as I’ve already said before. What Craig has planned for the upcoming year is very exciting to me.
Revel Horwood continued, “The Strictly Live tour is for you if you love the BBC series.” Fans can experience the spectacle of the TV show and their favorite celebrities and dancers up close and personal with us so that they can watch the glitz, glamour, and gorgeousness in an arena near them. The entire family will enjoy this wonderful night out.
Karen Carney and Amber Davies, both of whom are expected to win the glitterball this weekend, will not be participating in the live stadium tour in the new year.
Balvinder Sopal, the EastEnder who went out this weekend and holds the dubious distinction of holding the record for the most dance-offs ever staged in the show’s history, will be absent when the tour begins on January 23rd. And neither will ER star Alex Kingston, who was injured throughout week ten before being voted off.
Fans of former Emmerdale star Lewis Cope, who caused a “fix” uproar when he and partner Katya Jones left the quarterfinal, along with fellow champions George Clarke and Alexis Warr, as well as soccer legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lauren Oakley, who both left the competition in week five, had good news.
Fans should choose wisely when booking shows, though, because George will miss 11 shows for the same reason as Lewis and that he will miss eight performances due to a previous commitment. And while her partner Nikita Kuzmin will join her in 2023: Layton Williams, Amber is not available at the beginning of 2026 because she is appearing in Legally Blonde The Musical.
Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Karen Hauer, Ellie Goldstein and Vito Coppola, Vicky Pattison and her pro Kai Widdrington, will be the four newly announced couples, along with the previously announced ones, respectively. La Voix, a drag star, is recovering and will dance with her partner Aljakorjanec. She was forced to pull out last month due to injury.

According to one Strictly expert, “If Karen wins the weekend, she’ll be the second winner to miss the tour, coming on top of Chris McCausland last year, who was unable to attend because he had his own stand-up tour in the offing.” However, there are plenty of fans’ favorite films there to keep viewers happy. Vicky and Lewis both sparked outcries when they left the BBC show, so it’s good to have another chance to see them in action.
Layton Williams remarked, “It’s an honor to be asked back and able to do this twice, and it’s unbelievable.” Following his appearance in Blackpool last month, organizers had planned for him and Nikita to perform “some of their most-loved routines” for the arena audience.
