When her clan traveled to Switzerland with her rarely seen brother, Sarah Solomon made the trip of a lifetime.
However, the former X Factor contestant has since acknowledged that her family’s extensive skiing trip has been exhausting. She even went as far as to joke that the Solomon-Swash clan won’t be able to communicate with one another until they arrive in the UK in weeks.
Stacey, 35, shared a number of sweet snaps of the family – husband Joe Swash, and the five kids – to her Instagram account. In front of stunning snowy and mountainous backgrounds, she uploaded a number of photos of the group enjoying life and wildly smiling faces.
In the first image, Joe, Stacey and the five children are seen suited up for a day on the slopes. Joe sported a colourful suit, while Stacey opted for a more chic black-and-white design. A gorgeous mountain scenery awaited them as they stood in front of a chalet.
The Loose Women actress also outlined how seeing her brother again enhanced the experience. In a lengthy caption, she wrote: “The family who ski together – probably won’t talk to each other for a few weeks now. I’m joking (but not). It’s been the most special, tiring, adrenaline pumping, crazy week. Everyone is exhausted, but the BEST memories have been made, in my opinion. I’m so happy that I can go skiing with my pickles. Additionally, it’s been wonderful to see my brother. Since moving here, I have grown sorely miss him.
She thanked her family for their ski-related success. She continued: “I’m so proud of the kids &, how they powered through &, became so so confident on the slopes. What a special week. Time to leave now and try to recover before Monday’s school. P.S. I ended up loving Joe Jones suit more than he did. I adored him miles away, which I could not! but he chose not to wear it.
The family even had to make a chaotic start by missing their connecting train in Paris to Switzerland and impromptu nighttime activities in the French capital. Thankfully, Stacey and her brother eventually reunited after the family made it to the slopes.
Stacey has a number of “secret siblings” who fly unnoticed. Gemma, the “label maker,” is the older sister of the TV presenter, who frequently appears on her Instagram account. Samantha Stone, her sister, is also a personal trainer. Stacey’s dad David Solomon is actually Samantha’s step-dad. David was married to Stacey’s mum Fiona and the former couple also share Stacey’s brother Matthew. Afterwards, David then re-married and went on to have another son named Josh, 18.
With a successful career, TV shows, a marriage, and five children in the mix, Stacey recently admitted she finds herself “battling” between all areas of her life. She opened up to her close friend, Caroline Hirons, on her podcast, Glad We Had This Chat, and confessed she was taking a slight step back from her work.
In the May 2024 episode, Stacey discussed how her eldest son Zachary was about to leave school, and she said, “I definitely feel like I’m at a pivotal moment in my life. “I believe I’ve reached a point in my life where I’ve been extremely busy with his life, and my second son will soon be doing that.”
” Then I’ve got these three babies, I don’t want to miss what I potentially feel like I missed with my older children. And I’ve been wrestling with that in my head because I want to be there for my older children, who I believe need me now more than ever.
She acknowledged that her ultimate dream job would be to be a “stay-at-home mom” and that she meets with her agent annually to discuss her career objectives.
