Stacey, who is a guest of Amy Jackson Westwick on her podcast What’s the Tea, Amy?, revealed that she remarried last year and that things didn’t go according to plan.

“I couldn’t talk about it for so long without falling into tears.” But I can now. It was completely dramatic and ectopic. She explained that it occurred while she was in Liverpool and that she was informed that she was “bleeding internally” and required “immediate surgery.”

She continued, “I recall that I was about to go under because everything was going a**.” The TV star, who was born in Luton, praised Liverpool Women’s Hospital’s care for her.

Stacey has previously made an open account of what transpired. Prior to revealing the news on her TV show Stacey Sleeps Over, she had a hard time letting down the tears.

She described surrogacy as “what it is like to struggle to have a child” as she spoke with Britain’s first legally gay father, Barrie Drewitt-Barlow.

She said as she began to cry that we obviously wanted to grow our family, and last year, our pregnancy did not go well. It was “ectopic,” the statement read.

She then began to cry, “I’m so sorry because this is so predictable. I’m crying on a bed while I’m sitting here. It was extremely challenging and ectopic.

Ectopic pregnancies affect roughly 11,000 pregnancies a year and occurs when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb. According to the NHS, such pregnancies can never be saved and usually have to be removed using medicine or an operation.

Stacey continued, citing her own experience, that she was beginning to consider “alternative” methods of having children. “Of course, you are forced to consider alternatives when you go through that,” he said. You have to consider how to grow a bigger family if it happens.

Stacey and Kevin Clifton, who she met while dancing with him on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, have a daughter named Minnie. After winning the series, the pair began dating.

Stacey is not the only celebrity to open up about ectopic pregnancies. Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby, who now has two children, had an ectopic pregnancy in 2016 and almost died as a result. In 2022, Olympian Laura Kenny also opened up about having an ectopic pregnancy.
