Spain to host Ryder Cup for second time in 2031

In 2031, Spain will host the Ryder Cup at Camiral Resort in Girona.

Spain will host the 48th edition of the competition for the first time in 34 years at the former location of PGA Catalunya.

Seve Ballesteros led Europe to a 141-132 victory over the United States at Valderrama in 1997.

Following Paris in 2018 and Rome in 2023, where the Ryder Cup was held as a host, in continental Europe for the fourth time.

The Spanish Open and other DP World Tour competitions have all taken place at Camiral’s Stadium course.

After winning the Ryder Cup in Rome, Europe are currently the reigning champions.

From September 26 through September 28, this year’s event will take place at Bethpage Black in New York.
