Tyler Dibling, a 19-year-old Southampton winger, has been turned down by Everton for a sum of $ 27 million.

The Toffees are expected to make a better offer to land the highly-regarded attacker despite having an interest in the England Under-21 international.

After scoring twice in 33 Premier League appearances for the relegated Saints last year, Dibling has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

In the third round of the FA Cup in January, he also scored a double against Swansea City.

Everton have struggled to develop their squad this summer, with manager David Moyes claiming that the club are “running out” of time to sign players despite having money to spend.

Five seasoned starters, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Abdoulaye Doucoure, have left the Merseyside club, besides Thierno Barry, Thierno Barry, and young left-back Adam Aznou from Bayern Munich, who have been signed for £27 million.
