
Prior to the November 8 election, Governor of Nambra State Charles Soludo established a 489-member governorship election campaign council.
The governor stated in a post on his official X handle that the council would be in charge of spreading his vision for the state’s future and making sure that the state’s progress and development message is spread throughout it.
“This campaign council has 489 members who have been carefully chosen. This group will help spread our vision for the future of Anambra and ensure that every region of our wonderful state receives our message of progress and development.
I want to thank everyone who has accepted my position. I also pay tribute to each of you, thank you for making this party this date happen.
You are hereby inaugurated and I have the sole honor of welcoming this campaign council in Anambra. Together, let’s strive to create a brighter future for everyone! May Anambra keep winning”! he stated.

Despite recent difficulties, Governor Soludo continued, “APGA is more united than ever.”
The 8.5 million people who live in Anambra are represented by this campaign council, which has 489 members. You are all evangelists of this mission, he said as members.
In addition, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that 16 political parties will run for governor in Anambra.
Only two of these nominated women for governorship candidates, while six parties nominated women for deputy governorship candidates, the African Action Congress and the National Rescue Movement.
