Eight days before the Australian Open begins, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will play an exhibition match in South Korea.

The duo will compete in the Hyundai Card Super Match on January 10 in Incheon, while Melbourne’s main draw will begin on January 18 for the Australian Open main draw.

The two top-ranked players will compete for the first time, according to tournament organizers, for domestic tennis fans.

The pair, who met in three of their four Grand Slam finals in 2025, have jointly won nine of their past ten major titles.

After winning the Paris Masters on Sunday, Sinner reclaimed his position as the world’s number one from Alcaraz.

Before the ATP finals on November 9th, Sinner’s 6-4, 7-6, (7-4) victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime placed the Italian 250 points ahead of Alcaraz.

Alcaraz has ten victories in a row over Sinner, which is the pair’s only other total.

Before Sinner gained retribution at Wimbledon in July, the Spaniard won the French Open championship match in June.
