The X Factor star, 66, has opened up about how his looks have changed in recent years, including how he shed three stone and what cosmetic procedures he’s had done
Do you want to know how Simon Cowell shed three stone and which cosmetic procedures he’s had done? The former X Factor star has opened up about how his appearance has changed in the past five years.
Simon, 66, has shared that he lost three stone thanks to a strict workout regimen and by cutting his daily calories down to under a 1000 daily. He said in a recent interview that he has dropped sugar, dairy, red meat and gluten from his diet after he was told by a dietician that his prior eating habits made up “the worst diet he’d ever seen”.

In a candid chat with The Sun, he said eats “the same thing everyday”, including a protein smoothie for breakfast and half a hot cross bun for lunch. He added that his dinner is at 4:30pm, so he goes 17 hours without eating afterwards.
He added that he has “never been tempted” to try weight loss injections and instead has a gruelling workout plan. He cycles daily and “everyday I do somewhere between 300 and 600” push-ups.
This is all in an attempt to live longer. “I age backwards,” Simon said. “So instead of being 66, I consider myself to be 64. Next year, I will be 62. I think I can live to 100. If I can remove all my stress, carry on with the diet, and you know, we’re discovering new stuff all the time.”
Though Simon has a restrictive diet, the NHS recommends that the average adult consumes 2000 calories a day and limiting daily calories to under 1000 is not considered a healthy way to lose weight.
Simon added that he has had “thousands” of Botox units, but dispelled the rumour that he’s had a facelift. He admitted that he has had filler, but shared that he later saw a picture of himself and thought he looked “like a real weirdo” and had it all dissolved.
The music mogul has recently been working on a new Netflix TV show called The Next Act, where he tries to find the next big boyband. Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Simon revealed that he almost stopped the show, due to changes in the music industry.
“”I almost pulled the plug,” he said. He then explained: “Things have changed so much. These boys are used to making music in their bedroom and now they’re in a live audition.”
The band, named December 10, are a seven piece group, made up of Cruz (19), Danny (17), Hendrick (19), John (17), Josh (17), Nicolas (16) and Sean (19). They are from Chorley, Rochester, Dublin, London, Lisbon and Walsall, and between them Irish, Brazilian, Indian, Nigerian and Jamaican heritage.
