Ozzy Osbourne passed away earlier this week, just days after giving his final performance with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham.
Ozzy Osbourne fans are cashing in on a ‘free gift’ from his final performance following his death. The Black Sabbath rocker died earlier this week after paramedics battled for hours to try and save him.
In a statement, the Osbourne family revealed Ozzy died on Tuesday morning. They said: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
The rock world is in mourning, with his wife Sharon Osbourne understandably devastated by her and the family’s loss. Friends are said to be very concerned for Sharon, who Ozzy once described as his “soulmate”.

“Sharon is like my soul mate; she has a lot of different personalities, including love for her, dislike for her, anger for her, extreme jealousy for her, and want to kill her. But ultimately, I love her more than anything in the world, despite everything. Put another way, I couldn’t possibly live without her. He said of his wife last year, “I don’t want to live without her.”
“He was in so much pain, he had some very bad days. He knew for a while that he was on borrowed time really. He was so ill that, in that rock and roll tradition, he could have died on stage,” a source had said of Ozzy’s health in the days leading up to his death.
“We didn’t know there was an infection,” the statement continued. He was going, we all knew. In the end, he passed away peacefully at home with his entire family. Sharon wanted to bring him back from Los Angeles because it’s a lovely home. I’m not sure if she will be strong enough to dedicate a large memorial to those who want to bid him far. We believe she might choose to place him in a private garden at home.
Fans are now revealing that they are profiting from Ozzy’s tragic passing and selling items from the Villa Park celebration. A seller has listed two pieces of the confetti for a staggering sum of £308,68 worth of which is a poster from the show. Another buyer is asking for £57.87 for four confetti pieces, two for £26.67, or one piece for £13.33.
Due to Ozzy’s ill health, other vendors purchased the confetti as keyrings or framed posters to commemorate the occasion, which was billed as his final performance. He sadly passed away shortly after.
