The Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge is currently on sale with a huge 50% off that sees it slashed from £118 to £59, with shoppers saying they’re ‘obsessed’ with it
The colder months are the perfect time to swap your usual sweet and floral perfumes for something a little spicier, and Givenchy’s L’Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge is the perfect pick. The scent is described as “smouldering and provocative”, making it a great choice for wearing in the evening, and has a combination of spicy and fruity notes that are ideal for a winter perfume.
Although the fragrance is usually priced at £118 for an 80ml bottle, LookFantastic has included it in its major beauty sale right now, slashing the price by a huge 50%. That means you can nab the bottle for just £59, making it cheaper than the 50ml bottle which is discounted from £96 to £72, and only fractionally pricier than the 30ml bottle, which is now £51.75 down from £69.

The discounted fragrance joins the likes of other warm and spicy perfumes which are currently on sale elsewhere, such as the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Tiger Lily which is now £48.50 down from £97 for a 50ml bottle at Boots. You could also pick up the Fenty Eau de Parfum at Sephora, where the 75ml bottle is now £97.75 down from £115, whilst the 50ml bottle is slashed from £65 to £55.25.
However the Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge is the perfect scent for the colder winter months, with a mixture of fruity, spicy and floral notes that have a slightly festive feel. The top notes include blood orange and red spice, with heart notes of orange blossom and jasmine, whilst the base notes are sandalwood and patchouli.
The Givenchy perfume also has an impressive 4.8 star rating out of five on the LookFantastic website, with one customer saying: “I’ve become obsessed with this range of perfumes and this one is gorgeous. Really sexy yet classy, not overpowering but lasts all day. A nice day to night perfume.”
Another agreed: “Amazing fragrance. This is a top pick for me. Smells amazing. Really sexy smell. And all time fave.”
There’s currently only one review which isn’t five stars, with one less happy shopper giving it two stars and writing: “Tried this perfume in the shop and I loved the flagrance. I tried to look a bit more into reviews and everyone said it’s lasting long. This is not true at all unfortunately. No matter how much you spray it doesn’t last longer than 2 hours. Most of the perfumes I have I can still smell them on my clothes after a whole shift at work. But with this one it seems that I have to take the bottle to me and spray it. Such a shame as this is quite pricey and a nice flagrance but it simply doesn’t last.”
However, others disagreed about the longevity of the Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge . One wrote: “Absolutely love this perfume. Got it in a sample and had to buy the bottle. It’s such a sexy scent. One of my faves. It does last but I think if you get used to it you can’t smell it on yourself but it does last.”
Whilst another said: “Smells absolutely gorgeous and the longevity is insane, I can still smell it 8 hours later.” And a third agreed: “The longevity on this perfume is insane, smells absolutely amazing.”
