Shettima Set For Jos As APC Prepares To Receive Decampees — Nentawe

The Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, will travel to Jos, the capital of Plateau State, to meet with prominent politicians who recently left the ruling party, according to Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During the APC Strategic Stakeholders Meeting held at the Crest Hotel Conference Hall in Jos, Prof. Nentawe made this known.

The visit, according to the APC National Chairman, will take place over the course of Plateau State’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the party’s structure and expand its expanding influence.

According to Prof. Nentawe, “We welcomed the President about two weeks ago, and we are now welcoming the Vice President.”

He disclosed that several important political figures, including the APC Governors, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Senate President, would also be present.

Many governors in our great party confirmed their attendance when I spoke with them. The Speaker and the President of the Senate have also reaffirmed their intentions. So we’ll be back on the platform and have a full house once more, he continued.

Prof. Nentawe revealed that P. D. Gyang, an architect, has been appointed as the committee’s chairman for the grand reception attended by the new APC members, and that other committee members will soon be made public.

The APC Chairman praised the party’s ongoing efforts to remain vibrant and visible while highlighting the party’s recent completion of a medical outreach program spearheaded by a team from the United States.
