Sheff Utd & Pompey fixtures among EFL games off

Due to frozen pitches, two of Sunday’s Championship games have been postponed, and several others have been canceled elsewhere in the EFL.

Both Portsmouth’s game against Ipswich at 15:00 GMT and Sheffield United’s kickoff at 12:00 GMT are off.

The Blades claimed in a statement that a referee had examined the Bramall Lane pitch prior to the scheduled start and that some of the playing surfaces had been frozen.

Due to a pitch inspection at 11:00 GMT, the game was postponed.

In League Two, ten games were postponed, and four more were canceled due to the icy conditions in League One.

On Sunday, Doncaster’s meeting with Luton, Barnsley’s trip to Port Vale, Mansfield vs. Rotherham, and Stevenage vs. Leyton Orient were all called off.

Except as otherwise stated, games were scheduled to begin at 15:00 GMT.
