Semenyo’s £65 million release clause, which must be activated by January 10, has been agreed to by City.
After Wednesday’s game against Tottenham, the Bournemouth winger is scheduled to have his medical on Wednesday (30:30 GMT).
City are the only team to have made official contact with Bournemouth despite the interest from five clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham.
Before his side hosts Spurs, manager Andoni Iraola said, “I think it could be the last game.”
There is nothing that has been agreed upon and signed, despite my personal opinion. Since I understand the noise and the market, it is my personal opinion, but nothing is currently in agreement.
He is our current player, and I hope that will continue.
This season, Semenyo has nine goals and three assists for Bournemouth.
