Given the drama of her past, viewers are drawn in by Emma Hernan’s on-off relationship with real estate agent Blake Davis.
Uber-glamorous reality show Selling Sunset, follows employees at high-end Los Angeles real estate brokerage, the Oppenheim Group, is back for a brand new season on Netflix – and with it, the lives and loves of some our favourite characters. And one of those is Emma Hernan, whose tumultuous on-off relationship with Blake Davis had viewers gripped during season 9.
Since its debut on television in 2019 and its stunning homes, even more incredible views, and luxurious lifestyles, the show has been a hit. Emma, who adds a hushed puppy energy to the show, only became well-known when she joined the cast in season 4 and made the mention of her relationship with Peter Cornell.
She is currently content to show off her most recent love interest, but as she has previously stated, it took her a while to settle down and things haven’t always been straightforward.

The blonde beauty was allegedly sleeping with a married man in Nicole Young’s episode of Season 8, which Emma denied, and Nicole apologized in response. She acknowledged that she was shocked by the incident because she had been filming various scenes with an unnamed boyfriend at the time.
But by season 9, Emma was ready to be more open about her life, including her love story with real estate agent Blake, who briefly appeared on Selling Sunset in a scene where he joined Emma and her friend Chrishell Stause for lunch. That meeting didn’t quite go as planned, however, as Chrishell was visibly irritated when Blake confessed he’d never eaten a fruit or vegetable in his life – and said Emma would have to ‘mother’ him.
Emma and Blake ended up calling it a day after they’d wrapped on filming that season – but have since reconciled. So, there could plenty more drama in store, particularly after Chrishell aired her worries, as Emma revealed she was even considering getting engaged to Blake – who Emma’s co-star Chelsea Lazkani has referred to as “very, very rich”.
I have been very secret about relationships my entire life, Emma revealed last October, opening up about how some of her scenes have been edited. I’ve always had a private life even before the show. However, when producers reached me, they stated they were interested in learning about my relationship and the person I’m dating. What transpired was the complete opposite of what was captured on camera when I opened up my life.”
My boyfriend is undoubtedly more reserved. But he supported me no matter what I desired. He directed the movie, and we combined the film’s two properties. However, she continued, “He was pretty disappointed with what they did to me, which my family was also,” regarding the cut-scenes footage from season 8.
He had messaged me before the show, so we had been friends for a while before we met in December. Because he has a very close relationship with my family, that is something I’m fortunate to have and appreciate in this relationship.
