On Saturday (18:00 BST), the World Mixed Doubles Championship final will take on Italy.

After finishing second in the round-robin stage and defeating the United States 7-5 in their qualification game in New Brunswick, Canada, 2022 Olympic champion Jen Dodds and 2022 silver medalist Bruce Mouat overcame Australia 9-6 in the semi-finals.

Stefania Constantini and Anton Mosaner, both from Italy, won the match 7-5 against Estonia in the standings.

According to Mouat, the 2025 World Men’s Championship winner, “We’re just enjoying being out there right now” and “we’ve got a lot of confidence right now.”

“We had two really tough games today, and we’re looking forward to the last one,” I’m pleased with how we played.

The 2021 competition was won by Dodds and Mouat on home turf, and Bobby Lammie and Eve Muirhead won it in Geneva, Switzerland. Italy are in the first final.

“Jen and I have worked very hard to just get back to this point, and we’ve had a really good mixed doubles season,” said Mouat.
