After declaring she won’t be adding any more children to her family after a miscarriage last year, the former Gogglebox star has revealed how she plans to spend 2026.

Scarlett Moffatt has shared how she plans to spend the new year and shared cute pictures of her and her family, just days after she revealed she had heartbreakingly suffered a miscarriage.

The former Gogglebox star posted a series of snaps to her Instagram on 2 Janaury, in which she, her fiance Scott Dobinson and their son Jude, celebrated the New Year with a roast dinner.

She stated in the caption, “I can’t control everything.” However, I have the power to decide what I put forth. 2026, I’m choosing peace”. She received the support of several celebrities in the comment section, including Strictly pro Karen Hauer, who used an emoji to elicit a heart.

Vito Coppola, who was partnered with Scarlett for the Strictly Christmas special, also commented with heart emojis. Meanwhile, soap star Beverley Callard wrote: “Happy New Year gorgeous girl.”

Scarlett revealed she had a miscarriage in 2025 just days later. Two years after the birth of Jude, she explained to The Sun that she and Scott were “really excited when they learned they were expecting a second child.”

Unfortunately, Scarlett miscarried, which she claimed was “soul-destroying,” and the couple decided against trying for another child. They would prefer to have their son, especially since it had taken them “three and a half years” to become pregnant.

One day, I was lying in bed with Scott and said, “I just don’t think I can handle the heartbreak any more,” Scarlett told The Sun. We should stop, in my opinion. Let’s enjoy Jude because we have him. “

Despite the sadness, Scarlett’s performance in 2025 was admirable. After dancing a Cha Cha Cha with Vito Coppola to the DJ playing of Cher’s Christmas song, the TV star won.

Scarlett said in a statement to the Mirror before the special was scheduled to be broadcast: “I couldn’t believe my luck when I was paired with Vito. I wanted him a lot! Vito would be my favorite, I kept telling myself. I’m so appreciative of the show for giving us a chance to play a small part in such a significant institution.

The judges gave them a perfect score of 40 for their dance. We just laugh so hard together, Scarlett said, “It seems like I’ve known him for ten years. The best part is that it is “Strictly.”
