After 15 successful years in the position, Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall will retire at the end of the season.
During a domineering era under the former Ireland center, the north London club have won six Prem titles and three European Champions Cups.
McCall will step down as head coach under the leadership of Brendan Venter, who hired him in 2009 and who replaced him in the role he held for more than ten years and a half.
McCall, 58, will resign from Venter’s position as technical advisor and join the club’s board of directors.
“I think it’s time to make a change while still being deeply invested in the club I care so much.”
I’m really looking forward to helping Brendan continue to advance.
