Sam Thompson has openly admitted to going to therapy as he attempted to recover from his long-term relationship with Zara McDermott about a year ago.

And the typically content TV host has come out to admit to going to therapy. According to the report, the couple allegedly split up as a result of their busy careers and differing life goals. Despite previous difficulties like her past infidelity, they would frequently be seen together at public events before their split.
While the separation was reportedly amicable and a mutual decision after a tough year, Sam has confessed to the struggles he faced as the pair went their separate ways. Speaking alongside his best pal Pete Wicks, Sam admitted he doesn’t talk about his past with Zara “out of politeness”.

He told Mail Online: “I respect that we’ve both kept it that way. But I don’t know one person who enjoys going through a break-up. I needed therapy to help me process that change in my life.
Last year, I put in a lot of effort into neglecting both myself and my friends and family. One of the key takeaways was to allow myself some time; otherwise, you run the risk of getting sick.
Sam also made an unwavering promise to become a father in the future. The 33-year-old former Made in Chelsea man has frequently expressed his hopes. He continued, “I’d love to have kids, but I’d prefer to date unless I can see a long-term future in it.”
He must see a future with Talitha Balinska, the model and his new partner. The pair first met during a photo shoot in 2023 before rekindling contact at one of his arena shows earlier this year. After Sam confirmed it to Pete on his podcast a few months after starting their relationship, the two officially started dating.
Meanwhile, Louis Tomlinson, a member of One Direction, has left Zara. Early this month, she shared her first photo with the singer online.
The former Love Island star couldn’t help but share her joy as she celebrated her 29th birthday with the One Direction singer.
She beamed as she posed for a photo with Louis, 33, who was covered in brown faux fur and a beanie hat. Louis also grinned as he entered the photo, which was shot in a gloomy outdoor setting.
Along with the upload, she also included a sweet caption. Zara and Louis discuss their big day in it.
She wrote, “This is my best birthday ever; this is my 20th year!” Additionally, she included love hearts, a Christmas tree, and logs in a number of sweet emojis.
