Sam Thompson has now admitted to dating model Talitha Balinska, 25, despite the fact that she is not his girlfriend yet.
Sam Thompson has opened up about his blossoming relationship with model Talitha Balinska, confirming that the pair are dating, but aren’t yet official.
While on the latest episode of his Staying Relevant podcast alongside best friend Pete Wicks, the Made in Chelsea star turned I’m A Celeb winner admitted that things are going well between him and Talitha, though he’s in no rush to put a label on it.
Pete made fun of the phrase, “What stage are you at right now?” Before adding, “So look, you are dating, I think it is now clear.” Do we “remind you that we are dating right now”?
Sam acknowledged there is “no pressure” between them, but he couldn’t hide his smile as he confirmed the romance. There hasn’t been any discussion about that, he said. There is no pressure, which is wonderful. There is no constraint or deadline.
“The worst part about this is, if she sees this, I could get canned next week.” Pete then referenced Sam’s breakup with Zara McDermott, joking: “Oh, we can’t go through another break-up, not this year. At least wait till next year, darling.”
Sam laughed and acknowledged that he was simply accepting things as they came. He continued, “Material, I don’t know, everything is just super relaxed, you know what dating is like.
We simply enjoy it,” he said. In other words, I wouldn’t even know how to ask anyone out if I were to ever. I would panic. I haven’t asked anyone out in a while.
Pete jokingly called Sam out in another episode for trying to make a recent hangout into a double date. He retorted, “Sam did invite me on a double date over the weekend.”
I declined because it was just me and his friend and peep and his friend’s peep. Because he said he would see me, and then made it a double date, it sort of went out.
“Now, what that says to me is, ‘Come if you want, but it will be weird, and we don’t want you there. We don’t want you there, alright, because we’re going to be lovey-dovey feeding each other at the table and all the rest of it, and it might be weird for you to sit there… I know you’re sad, lonely, and depressed so it might be too much for you’.”
Pete’s mock complaints, which Sam could only be heard laughing off, were “not true.” Talitha was reportedly reconnected with the Staying Relevant host after she was given a surprise invitation to join his sold-out live performance at London’s O2 Arena.
He first met the model in 2023, but he was in a relationship with fellow Love Island star Zara McDermott at the time, and nothing happened between them.
Since their second meet cute at the O2, things appear to have moved quickly, and Sam has already introduced Talitha to his sister Louise Thompson, her fiancé Ryan Libbey, and their young son Leo.
Talitha, 25, is a native of a well-known family. Ella Balinska, her half-sister, and her father, Count Kaz Balinski-Jundzill, both work in the oil industry and are married to model Sophie Anderton.
