Three days after being knocked unconscious during the Super League defeat to Catalans, Red Devils of Salford second-row Emmanuel Waine, has been released from the hospital.

After being tackled by Franck Maria late in the first half of Thursday’s game, Waine was taken off on a stretcher.

Despite only 12 men, Catalans defeated Super League’s bottom side 17-16 despite Maria receiving a red card for the incident.

In a Salford statement, it is reported that Emmanuel is recovering from a collision that forced him to leave the field of play on Thursday.
