Mohamed Salah, a striker for Liverpool, has been named the Premier League player of the year.
The 32-year-old Egyptian, who won the award in the 2017-18 campaign, also claimed it in the 2017-18 campaign. It is the second time the Egyptian has won it.
Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch, as well as Morgan Gibbs-White and Declan Rice, Alexander Isak, Bryan Mbeumo, Brentford, and Chris Wood of Nottingham Forest, who were in opposition, who were Salah’s Premier League title winners this year.
In preparation for Sunday’s final game of the season against Crystal Palace, Salah has 28 league goals, five more than anyone else, and 18 assists, six more than anyone else, compared to the 20 that Thierry Henry and Kevin de Bruyne combined for.
He also signed a new two-year contract at Anfield until 2027, surpassing Sergio Aguero’s 184 goals, and he also recorded the highest-scoring international player in Premier League history.
