Mohamed Salah’s agent, Dominik Szoboszlai, has claimed that he almost always speaks to him while he is attending the Africa Cup of Nations, but has not made any predictions about the Egyptian international’s future at Liverpool.
On Tuesday, it will be known if Salah will play for Liverpool in Marseille’s Champions League game on Wednesday.
Following an explosive interview in which he claimed his relationship with manager Arne Slot had broken up, the 33-year-old’s future is uncertain, but Szoboszlai would not comment on the forward’s situation.
“That’s between me and him,” he said. He will return, and we continue our journey. The manager and the club have to make their own decisions, the 25-year-old said.

Despite having an xG of 2.95, Liverpool only scored once on 32 shots, of which 11 were on target. Additionally, Szoboszlai missed a penalty.
The attacking midfielder of Hungary said, “That’s the first time we have played really well against a low block and created a lot of chances.”
“We had crosses and shots in the box from a lot of guys.” When we play Marseille, we must aim for that, but they don’t have a low block, so we must also be prepared for this.
Szoboszlai also refuted allegations that Barnsley manager Conor Hourihane was “disrespectful” during the FA Cup match last week.
Hourihane suggested Szoboszlai would not have tried it against larger clubs, but Barnsley scored when the Liverpool midfielder made an attempted back heel deep inside his own box.
It’s been a difficult week personally, Szoboszlai said. I made a mistake against Barnsley, but I must make it clear that it wasn’t disrespectful, and that I would do the same for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City.
Giorgi [Mamardashvili] didn’t want to give it back, “I didn’t want to.” I attempted to act as though I was letting it out. I then missed a penalty against Burnley, but I’m confident that I’ll keep going, that I’ll get the next one, and that I’ll score.
Szoboszlai’s miss on Saturday was his second of 22 penalty-side attempts, but he is content to play when Salah isn’t available.
Szoboszlai, who revealed negotiations are ongoing over a new contract with his current contract expiring in 2028, added, “Yes, once against the post and now the crossbar.”
The following one is in, “. He is the first penalty taker if he [Salah] returns.
