Bukayo Saka will miss both Sunday’s game against Liverpool at Arsenal and Sunday’s match against Andorra and Serbia in the English World Cup qualifying group.
The 23-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in Saturday’s home win over Leeds United, and it is thought that the forward will be out for up to four weeks.
Due to a shoulder injury suffered in the win over Leeds, Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is unsure for the game at Anfield.
Odegaard appeared to have been replaced in the opening 5:05 of the match, and the former Real Madrid attacking midfielder is said to have left with his shoulder strapped.
The Norwegian international has not yet been declared out of the Premier League champions’ clash, and Arsenal is confident that neither Saka nor the 26-year-old will suffer any long-term effects.
Saka, who injured his hamstring for three months last season, is receiving a special relief.
However, Arsenal has signed Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, and Viktor Gyokeres this summer, which means they have much more attacking talent this year.
