American pop star Sabrina Carpenter has said that she is planning to anger her fans with an divisive move. The singer has said that she is considering banning phones from her future concerts after going to a no-phones gig herself.

The singer has stated that she believes the move will “honestly p*** off” her fans, but that won’t stop her. The actress claims that she first came up with the idea when she attended a Silk Sonic concert similar to that.

Sabrina acknowledged that it helped her experience, but that it also made her feel more transported back in time. She said having phones at events feels “super normal,” but she thinks a ban on them would be a good idea.

Sabrina claimed in an interview with Rolling Stone that Silk Sonic had locked my phone when I went there. I’ve never attended a concert with a better experience. I was genuinely concerned that I wasn’t alive when I was in the 1970s.

“Unfortunately, it seems very normal to me.” People should have memories, I don’t think so. But take those phones off based on how long I want to be touring and what my age, girl.

You can’t see my face, please. My skin is currently supple and soft. It’s fine, really. When I’m 80 years old up there, please don’t zoom in on me.

Fans can’t record videos of the event because phones being banned from concerts have become more popular in recent years. Ghost and Jack White are just two of the notable acts who have already put the ban into effect.

Music legend Bob Dylan also had a phone ban for his UK tour last year. Sabrina recently came under fire after revealing the album artwork for her new project Man’s Best Friend.

On June 12, she shared two images, one of a dog wearing a collar read “Man’s Best Friend,” and the other of a pop star standing over her and pulling her hair.

One fan expressed excitement over the cover, saying, “I’m excited to hear the music!” simply not that interested in the cover. I have to wonder what is really happening right now when I see this juxtaposed with Bonnie Blue’s petting zoo and Sydney Sweeney stuff.

Second, I thought the undertone of violence in this cover was so euphoric. While another person questioned, “Does she have a personality outside of sex?” The ex-Disney star wrote, “girl yes, and it is gooooood.”
