Sabotage and toenails – Eubank Jr and Hearn clash

A press conference to promote their rematch resulted in constant argument because of Chris Eubank Jr.’s grievances with Conor Benn and his team.

Before his first fight with Benn in April, Eubank, 35, claimed Team Benn and Eddie Hearn tried to “sabotage” him.

Eubank alleged that Team Benn manipulated his weight, calling them “ruthless” and “without restraint,” in addition to other allegations.

For the first time since their initial fight, Eubank and Benn have exchanged on Wednesday.

After the victory, Eubank claimed to have lost a toenail due to “severe dehydration.”

Hearn responded, “I’ve never heard so much waffle.” You’re playing the victim, you say?

In November, Benn and his British rivals will square off again in retaliation for their points defeat.

In front of 60, 000 spectators at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the sons of boxing legends Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn faced off.

In the weeks leading up to the first fight, Eubank Jr. and Hearn repeatedly fought, with the former heckling the Matchroom promoter whenever he spoke.

Eubank Jr accuses Conor Benn of performing on a “victory tour” despite losing, and there is a rumor that the bad blood has already sprang out.

You ain’t no champion, and you most definitely ain’t no people’s champion, Eubank said.

Benn stayed away from Eubank’s bait and let his promoter do the talking.

However, the 28-year-old made a promise to win the rematch without being too “greedy.”

He said, “It seemed like I was only one punch away from winning,” but he never lost hope.

The face-off ended without a major incident following a press conference full of arguing.

A fitting tribute to two-weight world champion Hatton was performed before the arguments started.

Hatton, 46, passed away on Sunday.

At the start of the news conference, Hatton was praised in large part for his wearing a Manchester City retro top in honor of the Manchester fighter.

Before the event, Benn described Hatton as his “hero” in a statement to BBC Radio 5 Live.

He responded, “I can’t really process it.”

He “was someone who really helped me in my career and also who welcomed me.” like a father would.

When I didn’t have a home, he made me feel at ease. He was very important to me. Very close to my family and me.

He was “my hero,” Benn continued, “He was a man I admired very much.”
