As he gets ready to ring in the new year, Rylan Clark has shared a heartfelt update. Before 2026, the 37-year-old TV presenter shared the love on Instagram.

As he let followers into a relationship update, he claimed there would be “no big post” this year. He wrote, “Finishing this year happy with someone I’ve been waiting for for a long time.”

“Thanks for another fantastic year. Bye 2025, please protect one another, stay healthy, and look after one another. Onto 2026. His celebrity friends praised him in the comments section, which was where they were very pleased.

Louise Redknapp responded to the red heart emoji only by sharing a red love heart emoji. Additionally, Rob Rinder jokingly thanked his pal.

It follows Rylan’s rave reviews of his newest romance. The BBC host and his partner Kennedy Bates, who owns a funfair business, officially announced their engagement on Instagram in September.

In an earlier episode of his podcast, How To Be In Love, back in August, he had made an apparent reference to his new romance. Kennedy’s identity was kept secret at the time, but he did acknowledge that he had been secretly seeing someone for some time.

He has since since become more open about their relationship, posting photos of the couple while they are together in Florence.

Rylan, who first gained notoriety on The X Factor, revealed the reason for his 2021 divorce from his wife Dan Neal in July. He acknowledged early in their relationship that he had a bad relationship with his ex-husband and that he had no idea when he confessed in 2021 that he would leave him.

He opened up about the challenging situation he faced after the heartbreaking split four years later. On the How to Be… podcast, Tasha Ghouri, who plays Chatting to Love Island, commented, “When I went through my divorce, I had a full breakdown because it wasn’t just us.”

Even though it was just me and my ex, it seemed like it wasn’t just us. Everyone will think this of me, I thought. Everyone will assume that his life isn’t perfect, but look at him. Oh no, he’s failed like that. Simply put, I failed, I thought.

After the split, Rylan previously admitted to Stephen Fry that he was considering suicide. He also revealed that his weight had dropped from nine to nine stone.

In his second autobiography, TEN: The Decade That Changed My Future, he wrote a reflection and said, “I got in a relationship quite young and just went with it.” I am aware that I am my own person. I won’t accept something wrong. It’s been a little bit of a gift in a wa.

There is no problem with me having sex with someone because I’m happy with it. Do I, however, want more? I do, of course, want more. Will I find the journey enjoyable? Abso-f***ing-lutely. “
