Rylan Clark, a “lovely” new man in his life, finally dispelled rumors about him and Rob Rinder, according to BBC Radio 2 presenter Rylan Clark.
Rylan Clark has revealed he is in a new relationship, following ongoing rumours about him and his co-star Rob Rinder. The 36-year-old’s revelation came during a chat with his co-star Lottie on the latest edition of his BBC Radio 2, Rylan on Saturday.
The presenter touched on Louis Theroux’s documentary-making career during the broadcast. The latter discussed his marriage and his wife’s relationship during the episode.
Lottie cheekily asked Rylan if there was “something else” that was mentioned after a snippet of the show was aired. Following a playful back-and-forth, Rylan jokingly deflected Lottie’s inquiries before confirming that he was dating.
He admitted: “I might have said that I’m… it feels weird saying it on the radio!”. After his colleague pressed him further to confirm it was “real”, Rylan admitted he had “kept it a secret for so long” and admitted that he was indeed “seeing someone”.
After their meeting, Lottie continued, claiming that she and her coworkers had discovered and he had been “lovely” with them. Rylan, who gushed about his new partner, described him as “happy” and “very content,” and said it was nice to keep the romance a secret.
The presenter stopped the ongoing rumors about him and his co-star Rob by confirmating his new love life status. “We’ve got married and we’ve got … we’ve got … we’ve got … we’ve got … we’ve got … we’ve got … He shared, “Rob is my friend.
I just thought, “Let’s just set the record straight, and Rob and Rylan are just about to come out again,” I said.
Rob and Rylan first collaborated on a three-part television series called Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour that saw the pair travel to places like Venice, Florence, and Rome.
In the most recent episode of the program, the pair travel to India, drawing inspiration from E. M. Forster, Rob’s adored author, who published the 1924 book A Passage to India.
The duo, which defeated rivals Race Across the World and Stacey Solomon’s Sort Your Life Out earlier this year, established themselves as a hit show and won a Bafta Television Award for their work.
Rob and Rylan also secured Best Popular Factual Series at the Edinburgh TV Awards. In reaction, Rylan headed to Instagram to post a picture of himself and Rob and to express their gratitude for the honour.
He posted: “Thank you for our @edinburghtvfest award for Rob and Rylan’s grand tour. Means the world. We’ve come out for dinner to celebrate. Thank you.”
