United Nations and allies reuniting in Paris
- In a joint statement, more than 20 nations from the so-called “coalition of the willing” and Ukraine and the US noted that “any settlement” to end Russia’s war on Ukraine “will need to be supported by robust security guarantees for Ukraine.”

- Following the meeting, Starmer stated to reporters that “the UK and France will establish” military installations “across Ukraine… and construct protected facilities for weapons and military equipment… to support Ukraine’s defensive needs.”
