RUSSELL MYERS: ‘Kate Middleton leads no normal life and cancer update is message to all’

There is no more compelling evidence to support the need to take things slowly for the Princess of Wales and anyone else recovering from cancer. Kate stated that she was “focused on recovery” even though she was in remission in January when she revealed that she was in remission after six months of preventative chemotherapy in January.

She continued, “It takes time to adjust to a new normal,” as anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer will be aware of. However, I’m anticipating a prosperous year ahead. The future queen took a protracted leave of absence from her royal duties to concentrate on her treatment after being diagnosed with the illness in February.

Kensington Palace insisted the princess would take her time, resume her full duties, and have a sluggish return to public life after announcing in September that she had finished her course.

Although the princess has recently experienced a more typical return to royal life, the princess’ return has been anything but straightforward.

However, with the heat wave we are experiencing, which includes attending the opening of the new V&amp, the new V&amp, the new museum in east London, the King’s official birthday celebrations at Trooping the Colour in London, and Garter Day in Windsor, perhaps it has all been too much.

Kensington Palace stated today that the princess must find the right balance as she manages her return despite the fact that the princess was naturally disappointed not to attend Royal Ascot, which is frequently regarded as a royal wedding date where the royals occasionally let their hair down and enjoy the festivities.

It goes without saying that many people who have gone through these experiences and have to balance work and family life do not have the luxury of time that the princess has.

This is not a typical life, as current senior members of the royal family have demonstrated working well into their 70s and 80s, with the late Queen Elizabeth II, who almost certainly played a public role up until she passed away.

What is clear is that the Princess of Wales may not yet be ready to play a full-time role for The Firm when we remove undeniable facts and privilege for a moment.

The King has been working a staggering schedule in recent months, with those closest to him telling me he is “making up for lost time” at the age of 76 and still receiving weekly cancer treatments.

The princess, who is 43 and the mother of three young children, has stated that her priority will remain with both her recovery and her family for the time being.

That role as a parent and her role within the monarchy have a considerable shelf life, especially with her youngest Prince Louis only seven.

The princess clearly needs to listen to her own body and mind and follow her own wishes, even if Kate is named in the official program and the Royal Ascot chiefs announced her attendance just 20 minutes before the palace announced she would not be attending. This is odd because the palace announced her absence from the official program.

If she does, her family, the royals, and in particular all of the charities and organizations she works for will benefit from doing so.
