Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been seeing out his final days at the Royal Lodge in Windsor before his eviction is finalised, with claims he could now be booted from the 30-room mansion “within weeks”.

The disgraced royal handed back his tenancy agreement for the property on the Windsor Estate when he was stripped of his royal titles, amid the ongoing revelations emerging about the nature of his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew remained in the Royal Lodge over the Christmas period to avoid any awkward run-ins with the Royal Family, who spent the festive season at Sandringham, where the former prince is reportedly moving to. The former Duke of York is reportedly moving into Marsh Farm on the Norfolk estate, with work on the building said to be in full swing. Renovations on the property continue, and so Andrew is thought to leave Royal Lodge before his 66th birthday on February 19.

Six-foot wooden fences have been erected around the dilapidated Marsh Farm on the King’s Norfolk estate, securing the property and ensuring privacy for his disgraced brother. “The snow or rain hasn’t delayed the work on Marsh Farm but it still needs a lot of attention to make it habitable. But one thing for sure is that it is a lot, lot smaller and less luxurious than Royal Lodge,” a source said.

Andrew was stripped of his prince and duke titles last year amid the worsening sex allegations relating to his friendship with the late US paedophile tycoon Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew denies any wrongdoing.

Princess Kate’s ‘old pace of royal engagements isn’t option as diary fills up’

As Princess Kate continues her recovery from cancer, a royal expert has claimed that “running on empty isn’t an option” for the senior royal.

In January 2025, the Princess of Wales announced that her cancer was in remission, and over the last 12 months, has made a gradual return to her royal duties.

With Kate making a return to her public duties throughout 2025, royal expert Robert Jobson believes that the princess is likely to be more discerning with the amount of work she undertakes in the next year, as she juggles her health and her responsibilities as a mother-of-three.

Prince Harry’s UK police protection could benefit Archie and Lilibet

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s plea to have police protection in the UK should be granted — on one condition, an expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to soon receive a verdict on their plea for automatic armed police protection in this country, after arguing the need it to ensure their safety. Harry himself is thought to be confident on the triumph, which sources say “would change everything” in regards to the royal landscape here.

Despite the criticism, one expert said today she believes a ruling in the couple’s favour would actually benefit their children; six-year-old Archie and Lilibet, four, who haven’t seen their grandfather — King Charles — since June 2022.

First look at centrepiece of £3million revamped Princess Diana memorial playground

The finishing touches are being added to the centrepiece of a £3million revamp of a playground honouring the spirit of Princess Diana. The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground next to her former Kensington Palace home is currently closed, undergoing a huge transformation, and will reopen this summer with a new ‘full-scale’ wooden ship for children to play on.

The ship has been built in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, and staff from Royal Parks, which manages the playground, have inspected the galleon in Germany before it makes its maiden voyage to London to its new home in Kensington Gardens.

Royal Parks said £3million is being spent on upgrading the playground’s equipment, which has reached the end of its life.

‘Kate Middleton had birthday lunch at our restaurant – we’ll never forget how she acted’

The Princess of Wales reportedly descended on a small UK bistro with members of her family and impressed those who work there with her “utterly charming” personality. Kate decided to mark her 44th birthday last week with a laid-back lunch with her mother, Carole Middleton and sister, Pippa.

The three Middletons dined at The Funghi Club, a “tiny” French bistro that offers patrons a “relaxed and carefree feeling” in Hungerford, Berkshire, much to the delight of those who work at the establishment.

It seems that the future Queen has made quite the impression on the little bistro, with a staff member recalling how she acted.
