As the Portugal and Al Nassr star prepares for a tearful end to his glittering career, Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he intends to retire “soon.”
In an interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored, Ronaldo discussed his thoughts on retiring and his life after playing football.
The 40-year-old is one of the most decorated players in the game’s history, but his remarkable career is about to end. He has scored a remarkable 952 goals.
Ronaldo, who is contracted with Al Nassr until 2027, said: “Soon. But I believe I’ll be prepared.

It will be difficult, of course. It’ll be challenging, right? Yes. Yes, I’m going to cry. I’m open to all. Yes, it will be very, very challenging.
Piers, I’ve got my future ready since I’m 25 and 26 years old. Therefore, I believe I can withstand that pressure.
Ronaldo wants to concentrate on his family and his off-the-field interests, so he can be sure to survive without playing football.
Nothing can compare to the desire for football to score goals, he said.
“But everything has a beginning, and everything has an end,” he said. I have other interests. I’ll have more time for my family and for raising my kids.
Cristiano Junior is a child who does stupid things, so I want to follow him. The same happened to me. Mateo is also a fan of football.
I want to engage in more enjoyable activities. My closest friends and I play Padel together. We’re improving a lot.
Ronaldo had successful stints at Juventus, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Sporting Lisbon before beginning his professional career with Sporting Lisbon.

In his first season in Manchester, he won three Premier League titles and the Champions League, among other accolades.
After leaving United for a second time in 2022, Ronaldo made his second appearance in the Saudi Pro League with Al Nassr.
Given his closeness to their current manager, Ruben Amorim, his former Portugal team-mate, he still watches the Premier League team’s performance.
However, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner cautioned United fans against expecting miracles from Amorim, who is currently undergoing a rollercoaster reign at Old Trafford since he arrived 12 months ago.
Ronaldo remarked, “He’s doing his best.” What will you do, exactly? Racles . It’s impossible to have a migraine.
He won’t perform miracles, he said. They have some excellent players, but some of them don’t even consider Manchester United to be.
“Manchester United is still dear to me.” That club is my favorite. However, we must be completely honest and say, “Listen, they are not in a good path,” while also looking for ourselves. Therefore, they need to alter, and that includes, in my opinion, the coach and the players.
