RoC, a French skincare company, recently released its new non-invasive lip plumper that offers instant and long-term volume, so Grace, a shopping journalist for Mirror, put it to the test.
With lip fillers and injectables becoming less and less popular, more people are turning to non-injectable treatments that can provide effective results. Lip plumping products became a huge deal back in the 2000s, and have remained popular thanks to celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian promoting the trend of fuller-looking lips.
However, many of the ingredients used in cosmetics, including chili peppers, menthol, and even bee venom, have been proven to cause that painful stinging sensation, leading to more serious damage to your lips over time.
I tested the $39.99 Derm Correxion Lip Volumiser, which French skincare company RoC, to see if it lived up to its hype.
A non-invasive topical lip treatment that gives you instant and long-term volume has been created with dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Without using needles, the formula stimulates and boosts the natural lip.

Review of the RoC Derm Correxion Lip Volumiser
Never have I been so obsessed with the appearance of my lips. They’re not particularly large, but they’re not quite small enough, in my opinion, to justify a lip filler. Having said that, I’ve always been intrigued by non-surgical lip plumpers because I prefer something temporary to something more permanent.
And for me, Volumiser from RoC has altered the game. I’ve already tried chili or venom to plump, and RoC’s selection has all the ingredients you need to feel good about. This treatment, which included 10% Hyaluronic Acid Filling Spheres, increased my lips’ volume and provided hours of hydrating and moisturizing protection.
The Pro-Collagen Peptide gradually smooths and subtly alters the contours of your lips, which is what I really enjoy. You’re also supporting longer-term improvement in volume and definition, so you get an immediate plumping effect.
The cooling tip makes applying it mildly tingling but not painful or harsh like other plumpers I’ve tried. Simply put, the formula seems to be kicking in.
I also appreciate that it didn’t turn my lips bright red and sore-looking, and instead just enhanced their natural colour, which aids in that fuller-looking pout. I’ve never tried lip fillers, and I’m not sure this can completely replace them, especially considering the plumping effect is fairly mild. But if, like me, you’ve always been hesitant about injectables, or you’ve recently had your filler dissolved and are looking for a subtle boost, this is definitely worth the investment.
In the end, I adore to see a noticeable improvement in lip elasticity three minutes after applying. And I can completely avoid lipstick and lip liner because of the natural flush it causes. A win in total.
