Robbie Williams has opened up about using weight loss jabs to keep on top of his weight but he has been experiencing different side effects
Robbie Williams has said that he’s a “different person” since taking Mounjaro for weight loss, but there are some devastating side effects he has experienced as a result.
The singer has opened up about using the jab to keep on top of his weight, which he said has made him a different person. He explained that he has found he has a “lack of mental anguish” since using the medication.
The 51-year-old has been honest about his mental health over the years and has said this has improved a lot over the last decade. Robbie has been using Mounjaro for weight loss purposes.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: “The lack of mental anguish that I’ve felt since I’ve been on Mounjaro is completely and utterly liberating.
“And maybe that’s got something to do with my continuous upward curve into feeling actually all right on the planet. For the longest time, mentally, I’ve not been very well.
“And it would seem that in the last ten years, the clouds have cleared, and I’m a different person. I’m one of those people that likes working out now: Stretching, discipline, taking care of myself.” Robbie said that he was an “early adapter” of the jabs but found there was one negative side effect that impacted him quite a lot.
He said that he has found that since using the jabs, his eyesight has gone significantly downhill. A US study found last year that patients using some fat jabs for Type 2 diabetes were four times more likely to be diagnosed with non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION).
This is a lack of blood flow to the optic nerve, which may then lead to sight loss. The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has received 296 reports of eye disorders thought to be linked to Mounjaro.
164 of the claims said the drug had damaged their vision, but scientists have not agreed that the medicines cause the condition.
Robbie noticed that his eyesight had got worse since using the drug. He said that he has found he struggles to see people while he is on stage performing, particularly when he is singing ‘You’re The One’.
He said he doesn’t think the eyesight deterioration is down to age but instead is down to the jabs. Robbie’s prescription has changed, which has meant that he has had to buy a “whole new load” of glasses.
But this hasn’t put him off, as he went on to say that he would still use the drug “until the sight in one eye has completely gone”.
This is despite being told at a meet and greet by a fan that their friend has “gone blind” from weight loss jabs. He then joked that he then asked if her friend looks good though in his typical humour.
