After crashing headfirst into a glass window and sharing photos of his facial injuries, billionaire business mogul Sir Richard Branson was left bloody but joking.

Sir Richard Branson has revealed a painful mishap in New York this week, after running “face first” into a window at one of his Virgin Hotels.

The 75-year-old billionaire shared photos of his bloodied cheek on Instagram but still managed to laugh at himself, joking, “Did you hear about the guy who ran into a window? He was in a lot of pane… This week, that guy was yours truly.”

Branson continued by stating that he had been dining with Planetary Guardians members in New York City and that Holganix had recently developed innovations in sustainable farming. He ran over to greet the Holganix team as they passed, but he slammed straight into a glass window. He wrote, “I ran face first into the window to catch up with them.” “I left a lot of a mark on the glass, and it also left a lot of a mark on me”!

He praised a woman named Elizabeth for catching him before he fell, saying, “Thankfully, there was no serious harm done. The cut is well-heeled, and I feel fine now. I’ll be sure to turn the other way in the interim”!

A highly regarded chef died in a tragic buggy crash at Branson’s £95, 000-a-night Necker Island retreat in the British Virgin Islands, shortly after the accident.

Sihle Somdaka, 37, a father-of-two and aspiring chef, died reportedly while driving down a steep hill at night. He had just recently attended the lavish Great House on the island.

Somdaka was taken by boat to Peebles Hospital on Tortola after emergency crews from nearby Moskito Island rushed to perform CPR, but sadly he passed away from a head injury.

Branson was not on the island at the time, but a source close to him claimed he had been in contact with island staff and family, and that he was “deeply saddened.”

They claimed that while Richard wasn’t on the island at the time of the incident, he had kept in touch with the family and the Necker Island team.

British Virgin Islands police have launched an exhaustive investigation. According to one insider, the island had a “culture of excess,” warning that “it shouldn’t have happened, but it was only a matter of time.”
