Louis Rees-Zammit describes his new contract with Bristol Bears as “incredibly happy.”
The club describes the 24-year-old’s new contract as “long-term,” but not disclosed how long it will run.
Six tries were scored in eight appearances for Wales, and the full-back looked at home in Pat Lam’s side since returning from the NFL last summer.
Director of rugby Lam described Louis as “a world-class talent and someone who embodies the way we want to play for Bristol Bears.”

Lam also believes that Rees-Zammit, who performed with the British and Irish Lions in 2021, has more to come.
He continued, “He’s only scratching the surface of his capabilities.”
“If he keeps on going in this direction, he has everything he needs to become one of the world’s best players,” he said.
Rees-Zammit expressed his happiness over Bristol Bears’ future. I think this club would be ideal for me, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish.
The environment here makes it possible for me to express my feelings and play the game I love, which also highlights my best qualities.
