Rebecca Loos has defended her alleged affair with footballing legend David Beckham as lying. Shortly after he married his wife Victoria Beckham, the pair reportedly had a fling in the 2000s. David has never denied that anything ever happened.
Rebecca Loos has alleged that David Beckham and Rebecca Loos have “never lied.” The former model claimed that she and the football player were dating when he wed Victoria Beckham in the early 2000s.
The football player has consistently denied that anything has happened, and Rebecca has now claimed in a new interview that speaking out about the alleged affair was “very brave” as she claimed she has “stuck to the truth.”
“I thought it was a very brave decision to confront them,” he said. I’ve kept my word. Never have I exaggerated. I’ve never told any lies. Why? Because I’m facing the media’s most powerful, strongest couple with the most money in the world for the best PR and best lawyers. And the only thing I had on my side was the truth, she claimed on 60 Minutes Australia.
David addressed the allegations in his most recent Netflix documentary, which was released in 2004 when the allegations first surfaced. He later stated, “I don’t know how we managed to get through it in all honesty.” I value Victoria above all else.
We are fighters, she said, “To see her hurt was incredibly difficult.” For our families and for each other, we had to fight. For what we had, fighting was necessary. The documentary’s “victoria then added in her own interview that the world was trying to stop us.” If I’m being completely honest, here’s the thing: we were fighting.
Rebecca responded that David was “indirectly suggesting that she had caused Victoria to suffer.”
The stories were indeed terrible, but they were accurate. In the documentary, he discusses how he ultimately views his private life, shutting it down. It’s one thing to confine your private life to yourself, in my opinion. She had said, “It’s another thing to mislead the public.”
Rebecca asserted in a recent interview that David was “making himself look like the victim.”
She said, “I understand that he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim, and he is making me look like a liar, as I’ve created these tales.” It’s all, ‘ Poor me. ‘ He must assume accountability.
David at the time disputed any events in a statement. He said, “I have grown accustomed to reading more and more ridiculous stories about my private life over the past few months.
“What appeared this morning is just one further example. The simple truth is that I am very happily married and have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change this.”
