After joining Wolves on a season-long loan, defender Nasser Djiga claims Rangers is his “best team.”

The 22-year-old left Red Star Belgrade for the Molineux club in January, starting one Premier League game and serving as a substitute in four others.

Prior to moving to Belgrade, he also played for Nimes in France and his birthplace, Burkinabe, before beginning his career in his native Burkinabe.

“I’m very happy to join Rangers because it’s one of the biggest clubs in Scotland and Europe,” Djiga said.

“I’ll try my best to give everything, play every game, and choose the best team for me,” he declared. I just want to play football for the team and have fun.
